XIV is an amazing group of artists from San Diego, carefully crafting a unique blend of musical styles ranging from trip-hop to electronica to downtempo. Sultry vocals by Kelly Samuels and Shani Ayanna weave seamlessly into a rich tapestry of hypnotic melodies, throbbing beats and deep, driving bass lines. While XIV's music could be compared to classic UK acts like Massive Attack, Tricky, and Portishead, this San Diego group is creating a signature sound of their own.
