Sue Palmer, widely known internationally as The Queen of Boogie Woogie, has been a staple of San Diego's blues, swing, and jazz scenes for over 30 years. Best known for her beehive-wearing stint with blues diva Candye Kane in the '90's, Sue has been making her mark in the last decade with her high energy band, the Motel Swing Orchestra, and her flashy boogie woogie stylings.

In this episode, she talks with LJ about her early days of performing, the formation of her band Tobacco Road, her many experiences with Candye Kane, and her recent travels around the globe. As a bonus, you'll get to listen to a sampling of her work, including a wonderfully charismatic performance by the late Preston Coleman. Tune in!
